Club Spotlight: FOREGALS Golf

FORE: How did your club start?

Amber: FOREGALS Golf (FGG) started a year ago with an idea of being one of the chicest golf communities in Los Angeles. I ran into a friend at the driving range. She invited me to play with her and some ladies, but I was too nervous because I didn’t have enough experience, so we played by ourselves. When the round was over, I felt an increase in self-esteem.

Golf was a newfound love. I wanted to create a place where women could find a safe place to practice, build lasting friendships, network a little and build self-esteem. I was yearning for a community that I felt didn’t exist, so it was at that moment that I decided to create my own, in the hope that others would get the same fulfillment that I did. I wanted to inspire, mentor and guide other women who might feel lost.

What is the club’s mission?

The club is solution-based and designed to bring our ladies the necessities they need to make their golf game the best it can be. It is important that we are inclusive. I have always been about building confidence for other women and wanting people to feel confident and their best.

Inclusivity has always been FGG’s mission, and sort of be a ‘hype girl.’ I just felt it was time to create a new brand of golf for women and it’s been so amazing to see it come together. It’s my baby and I can’t wait for other women to learn about us.

What makes your club unique/special/different?

We’re different because our club is about more than golf. We empower our women on the green but leave them walking away with the feeling that they’ve gotten something of value. We’re progressive in the way in which we incorporate crypto industry trends and tech collaboration platforms into our club.

For example, we’re the first women’s golf club to offer our members three NFT’s from Odin Golf, and we offer a platform for our members or non-members that allows them to communicate directly with each other.

We bring a cool, classy, confident and fun vibe to the game. We’re women from different cultures, education, religions and professions. We have doctors, attorneys, firefighters, influencers, students, entrepreneurs and high-level executive women, and those things help us to be a better club.

What can your members expect when they join your club?

Members can expect to make lasting relationships and learn to play with other gals. They can expect to learn the game of golf in a judgement-free zone while networking with other boss babes and women. With members who work in industries ranging from beauty and entertainment to legal and sports, we have great connections. We also assist our gals with setting up lessons, apparel, golf supplies and outings.
