Father’s Day Ideas

If your dad plays golf, you’re in luck for Father’s Day next week. That’s because we’ve assembled a few gift ideas — depending on his needs and tastes.

If he’s looking for a new rangefinder, you might as well get him one that will last for years. Nikon’s brand-new COOLSHOT PRO STABILIZED ($450) can eliminate 80 percent of hand movement while locking in distances up to 1,200 yards in just 0.3 seconds. That’s particularly useful for those of us with shaky hands. Plus its red OLED display adjusts brightness to surrounding ambient light, so he will always have a great view of his target.

Nothing dresses up a golf bag more than high-quality headcovers. Just in time for the summer, Titleist is offering new patriotic USA Flag headcovers ($100 apiece) that feature embroidered symbols and debossed details. They’re made from premium and genuine cowhide leather.

If you’re looking for a shirt armed (pun intended) with the latest technology, PUMA Golf’s Local Pro Polo ($70) is made with the remarkable and all-new FUSIONYARN fabric that blends cotton’s softness and breathability with polyester’s moisture-wicking properties and durability. Plus, it dries fast and looks great on or off the course.
